The management of “Other Worlds” with mastermind Stephan Rabl and the board of directors of the town band with chairwoman Anna Strondl and Patricia Warn are backing a joint campaign to revitalize the town lake. The aim is to create a “win-win situation” for everyone involved. In the arena and around the city lake, the two clubs offer a unique stage.
“The attraction of the clubs should in turn affect the number of visitors to the lake,” affirmed City Councilor Martin Seidl. Strondl and Rabl are sure that the new agreements should create synergy effects on both sides and that the clubs and people should become multipliers of the Stadt.SeeFest.Horn. From brass band music to Tom Neuwirth (Conchita), there is something for every taste and genre on the first weekend in September.
The Horn town band starts at 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and the Heurigen begins at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Horner Bradl Music will perform on all three days. The sundowner on Saturday is performed by the music band Langau, the morning pint on Sunday is played by the Grenzlandmusikverein Zissersdorf. The menu includes suckling pig, chops, cheese spaetzle, smoked cheese, granola and meat dumplings, “but we also cater for the small appetite,” reports Strondl.
The Stadt.SeeFest.Horn begins on Friday, September 1, at 6 p.m. with Momazo on the Seedeck lawn. From 8.30 p.m. Tom Neuwirth & Martin Zerza and their band “Die Pralinen” will perform in the Weitblick on campus (tickets: www.andere-welten.at). After that, DJ PlatO will play from 10 p.m. in the foresight of the campus with free admission.
The program on Saturday, September 2nd, begins at 4 p.m. on the Seedeck’s lawn with The Goodhouse. From 5 p.m. Wemimo and from 6.30 p.m. Aminata & The Astronauts will be performing on the lake stage. From 8.30 p.m. the show continues in the backdrop of the campus with Da JO EL TOBO, Mary Jane’s Soundgarden and DJ PlatO and DJ Fibonaxi with free admission.
