Revitalizing Sainte-Catherine Street: $70 Million Project to Replace Obsolete Underground Infrastructure

Work estimated at $70 million is underway on Sainte-Catherine Street to replace obsolete underground infrastructure dating back more than a hundred years.

TVA Nouvelles was able to visit this important construction site which is in phase 2 of its construction between Peel and Mansfield streets.

There are many pipes, wires and conduits dating back to the 1800s.

This stage of work will last at least until autumn 2025.

Other work is then planned up to Atwater Avenue.
