Dubai: Intelligent robots have been deployed at the Dubai Central Laboratory to check the quality of building materials including cement.
The robot will perform X-ray inspection and chemical inspection of the equipment. The report of quality inspection of cement can be received on the customer’s phone within minutes through digital system. The new system will ensure the quality of the construction sector and make the inspection systems of the municipality flawless.
The inspection of construction materials used to take up to 4 days has been reduced to 8 minutes with the new system. The number of sample tests will increase by 650%. With timely submission of lab results, contractors are able to complete the works within the stipulated days.
