2023-10-26 15:14:00

No more driverless vehicles to clean the roads in Dubai. Cycle tracks around beaches will initially be cleared of driverless vehicles. Dubai Municipality declared the new experiment a success by releasing a video of a driverless vehicle cleaning the beaches of Jumeirah and Umm Suqeem. Driverless trucks will soon hit the roads for cleaning operations.

Along with cleaning the environment, being an electric vehicle can also reduce environmental pollution, according to Dubai Municipality. These vehicles can run continuously for up to eight hours on a single charge. The maximum speed is 40 km.

Dubai Municipality recently appointed 84 employees including 12 supervisors to clean the beaches. Dubai Municipality has announced that many projects have been launched to ensure cleanliness in tourist centers including beaches.
