After it was revealed that the actor Richard Gere was hospitalized in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico, due to being diagnosed with pneumonia, his wife, Alejandra Gere, spoke regarding his state of health on his Instagram account.
It was learned that the family was vacationing in the Mexican tourist destination when the 73-year-old actor felt bad and went to the medical service. After some tests, it was determined that he had pneumonia and he spent a night in the hospital, from where he was discharged with a medical prescription.
Alejandra Silva, Gere’s Spanish wife who was celebrating her 40th birthday, spoke regarding the “Pretty Woman” actor’s health in a post on her official Instagram account.
“I woke up this morning and saw the news and all your kind and caring messages, he’s on the mend, feeling so much better today!”
He added: “The worst is over! Thank you all for your sweet messages, we really appreciate it!”
