Rico: 11 vehicles were recovered in the last hours in Bolívar state

The director of the Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc), Douglas Rico, reported that security devices were applied in Bolívar state to reduce crime rates, resulting in 11 vehicles recovered; they were requested for robbery, theft and alteration of serials.

Due to theft, they recovered: a Chevrolet Aveo car, plates GDL41F; Chevrolet Optra, plates AB118TV; Encava ENT minibus, plates A277OAG; Jeep Grand Cherokee pickup, plates AA283YF; Ford Fiesta car, plates AA164VW; a Toyota 4 Runner pickup, AA160WC plates and a Chevrolet Corsa FAM04N car.

Due to serial alteration, the following were recovered: a Hyundai Tucson, plates AC833FW and a Chevrolet Luv van, plates A69BC9E; due to misappropriation, a Renault Twingo car, plates FBR79G, was recovered. Due to theft, a Chevrolet C-31 truck, plates 679XCG, was recovered.

The recovered vehicles were placed at the order of the Public Ministry.

Procedure in Castillito

Members of the Bolívar State Police (PEB) recovered a vehicle that had been requested for theft since this Sunday, July 3. The discovery was made during patrol work on the main avenue of Castillito, in the municipality of Caroní.

The officials reportedly sighted a red Chery pickup truck, a Grand Tiggo model, abandoned. It was transferred to the police headquarters, where it was verified by the Police Information System (Siipol), being required by the scientific police and the Municipal Delegation of Ciudad Guayana, for the crime of generic theft.

The procedure was notified to the Fourth Prosecutor of the Public Ministry.
