Mapping the 2027 ‘Here And Now’ Itinerary

Following the February 12 curtain-raiser in Bournemouth, the quartet heads to London for a date at the Brixton Academy.

It hits the 34-year anniversary of the band’s 1992 gig at the venue, immortalised on screen as Ride – Live at Brixton Academy. From there, the routing pushes northward, hitting Birmingham on February 14, Leeds on February 16, and Manchester on February 18, before closing out the run in Glasgow on February 19.

Presales opened this morning, while general ticket sales go live tomorrow at 10 AM.

Balancing Solo Pursuits and the Reunion Machine

Alongside releasing his third solo album, Pinball Wanderer, Bell has been on tour with Oasis for their reunion shows.

Reports suggest that Oasis are planning a huge 2027 UK and Europe tour. Rumours point toward potential bookings, including a huge show at Knebworth and a 12-night Manchester residency at the Etihad Stadium.

Meanwhile, bassist Steve Queralt has stepped into the spotlight with his debut solo release, Swallow. Mark Gardener is similarly occupied outside of Ride commitments. Gardener is teaming up with Talk Talk for a one-off special performance in London celebrating the 40th anniversary of the album The Colour Of Spring.

Overcoming Adversity Behind ‘Interplay’

To understand why this 2027 reunion feels so cathartic, one must look back at the birth of their latest studio effort, 2024’s Interplay.

Reflecting on the psychological and operational hurdles of that era, Andy Bell opened up about the heavy cloud hanging over the group during production. “It just felt so dark for a while there,” Bell shared regarding the pandemic disruption. “Along with dealing with COVID, we had a lot of adversity with the sort of legal battle going on with ex-managers. All the hideous stuff that you read about that other bands go through, it was happening to us.”

Yet, surviving that crucible ultimately fortified their collaborative bond. “It was a very testing time really for all of us, as it was for everybody,” Bell noted. “In our own way, we came through that and I think that’s what really made this album as strong as it is because at certain times, I was just wondering if this was the end.”
