Three people from the same family were murdered in a Montallantas workshop, in the Rincón del Lago neighborhood in Soacha, this Sunday.
The armed criminals entered the repair shop and without saying a word attacked those present.
The biggest hypothesis that is handled is that the attack was for extortion. According to unofficial statements, one of the victims refused to pay and, hours later, the criminals returned and committed the murders.
The victims were transferred to the Cundinamarca Cardiovascular Hospital: two arrived without vital signs, while the third person died later in the care center due to the seriousness of his injuries.
According to residents, criminal gangs operate in the area that extort merchants in exchange for supposed protection, demanding payments that vary according to the sales of each establishment.
The inhabitants of the area expressed that they feel very concerned because the criminal acts have been repetitive and disturb the tranquility of the sector. For this reason, they asked the authorities for greater police surveillance.
