Released in 2009 on Xbox 360 and PC, the role-playing game Risen set to return to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on January 24 next.

Direction the island of Faranga, largely inspired by Sicily where ancient temples are gradually emerging from the ground. The latter is dominated by a volcano, and the island undergoes the war of the inquisition, and anyone not respecting the rules is immediately imprisoned. You will start the story on a boat, which runs aground via unfortunate hazards, very close to the port of Faranga. Survivors of this disaster, all without living, without weapons and with Sara as your only companion, you will have to survive.
Don’t expect a remake or a remaster, the German studio Piranha Bytes is content with the bare minimum with a simple port to the latest Microsoft consoles.
Risen will be available on January 24, 2023 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
