The Austrian women’s national team has once again called up SPG player Eileen Campbell to the squad. After her successful performances in test matches, she could be in line for her first competitive appearance in the Nations League. The ÖFB selection will face Norway and France at the end of September before facing the Portuguese in Altach in October.

The newly formed Nations League brought Austria a very interesting draw: In Group A2, Irene Fuhrmann’s team meets the top nation France (WRL 5th), the 1995 world champion Norway and the up-and-coming Portuguese team. It starts against the first-mentioned teams in September, including SPG player Eileen Campbell. After three appearances in test games, in which the player of the 22/23 season contributed a goal, Eileen could now be used in a competitive game for the first time. Two other Altach women are now on call: Anna Bereuter and Sabrina Horvat are on the waiting list.
