Their favorite targets are high-end cars, with integrated GPS, or better, on-board computer. The more options there are, the more they are interested: central consoles full of electronics sell very well on classified ad sites, but also abroad.

“The thieves are professionals, they are organized. Large orders often go abroad., explains Tony Vallée, SGP Police unit department secretary. In France, thefts from vehicles increased by 7% between December 2023 and February 2024, according to the Ministry of the Interior.
