Under 15 Selection
Little Ritika became a star when she was selected in the U-15 elections that followed. He was selected for the training camp due to his good performance and interest in cricket. Later, Kunju Ritika was among the team members selected from the camp. At first, parents were afraid of getting injured while playing with their older children with the stitch ball.
Bought helmets and safety pads. A baby bat in three sizes was also selected for her. Other kids use bigger bats. But when she first entered the field with the bat, all the worries of the parents flew away with the ball. As her father used to train her by throwing the ball, she did not flinch in front of the older children’s bowling. The first competition was between the districts from Malappuram to Kasarkode. He was in the field that day. Kannur district team became champions in the competition. Six-year-old Ritika got a place in the under-15 Kannur district cricket team through her talent. The under 15 team consists mostly of children aged 10 years and above. Little Ritika came between them with a bat.
