Shura discusses attracting competencies in mental health specializations
The Health Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting chaired by Council Member and Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Hassan bin Salem Al Masloum, to discuss the topics on the committee’s agenda, which were referred to it by the Council for discussion, and to present the committee’s views and recommendations regarding them, in preparation for presenting them before the Council during the coming period.
During the meeting, in which the members of the Council and the members of the committee participated, they reviewed the most prominent provisions of the annual report of the National Center for the Promotion of Mental Health for the year 1443/1444 AH. The committee discussed appropriate ways to stimulate the private sector and the endowment sector. To support and finance its work and programs, and what is related to scholarship programs and attracting competencies in mental health specializations. The committee also discussed a number of topics related to the report.
It is noteworthy that the Health Committee is one of the specialized committees of the Shura Council, which studies, according to its competence, issues, rules, regulations and annual reports related to health fields.
