RJ City Hall announces space with technology classes for young people in Campo Grande

A Rio de Janeiro’s city hall announced something new for young people who live in Big Field. This is the Youth Spacean initiative that aims to qualify interested parties among 15 and 29 years old in several different areas. In this sense, courses in digital media, robotics, drone operator and more will be available.

For now, the options with open places for registration are for “Mobile Programming” e “IT for Business”. The novelty is the result of a partnership between the Special Secretariat for Youth in Rio (JUV-RIO) and the Besouro Institute. These spaces have a proposal focused on offering innovation and sustainability.

In this case, the containers are equipped with different types of devices, such as notebooks, drones, 3D printers, DJ controllers, Arduino kits and more. All applicants need to do is fill out a form with the information requested as a preliminary stage. Afterwards, the registration will be carried out.

According to the information released, the project does not provide for subsistence or travel assistance. The courses take place from April 1st and will run until April 30th, with classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Upon completing the course, students will receive a training certificate with a course load of 20 hours.
