Road accident in Larissa: An unconscious driver was pulled out – 2024-07-28 16:36:00

A driver of a vehicle was pulled out unconscious after a collision with another car at the Melissochori junction, in Kileler in Larissa.

According to Onlarissa, a 61-year-old man met a tragic end on the asphalt on Saturday afternoon, after a traffic accident at the intersection of Melissochori. The accident occurred in the early minutes after 7 p.m. when two cars I.X. collided violently at the point in question – under unspecified circumstances – resulting in the overturning of one and its transformation into an amorphous mass of ferrous metals.

He immediately sounded the alarm to EKAV, Fire and Police. Arriving firefighters freed the unlucky man, driver of the overturned car, with rescuers declaring his death.

The Traffic Police is conducting an investigation into the cause of the accident.
