The N20 road that connects Le Col-des-Roches to Villers-le-Lac in neighboring France will be closed to traffic from Monday July 17 at 7 a.m. to Friday July 21 at 5 p.m. Asphalt works will be carried out on French territory at the level of the RD 461 road and will lead to the total closure of the section between the Col-des-Roches crossroads and the Villers-le-Lac roundabout.
A diversion will be offered by Les Brenets, with alternating traffic in the Rançonnière tunnel, for traffic without customs clearance. The crossing of the village of Brenets being currently regulated by traffic lights due to a construction site, a modification of the regulation of traffic lights will be put in place in order to limit the inconvenience for traffic, according to the Maintenance Office. Regarding traffic with customs clearance, the diversion will be via Vallorbe.
The Maintenance Office notes that school and clock holidays represent a 20% drop in traffic, especially during peak hours. /comm-mma
