Days before the interview was released, Palazuelos, who owns hotels in the resort of Tulum, in the Mexican Caribbean, caused controversy by threatening a “settlement of accounts” to those who have criticized his intentions to contend for the government of the touristic state of the Mexican Caribbean.

In a recent interview for the television program “First hand”, the actor claimed to have written down the names of all the people who are defaming him and with whom he would settle accounts when he is governor.

“No dirty war is going to stop me and all those people who are defaming me, who are doing things, I am pointing,” said the businessman and hotelier.
