Rock and Blues Extravaganza: A Spectacular Second Day at Belgacom Festival

This second day, with more rock and blues sounds, attracted many festival-goers to the Belgacom site where the new main stage is located. The day started with Dr Bruzz from Verviers on the Province de Liège stage (Belgacom site), Moab on the rue du Collège stage and Just Friends on the side of the Spirit of 66. The blues settled on the site with the energetic voice , while being gentle, by Thomas Frank Hopper. The other stages welcomed their share of festival-goers who strolled from place to place, scrupulously following the established program. The weather this Saturday was perfect to allow artists and spectators alike to enjoy it.

At the start of the evening, the group Machiavelli set the main stage on fire by playing songs from their latest album Phoenix. Without forgetting their tubes which they chained since their beginnings. They ended on a nostalgic note with Fly simply igniting the eagerly awaiting audience before moving on to the encores.

The Belgian group set fire before giving way to the headliner of this second day, The Rubettes with Alan Williams, the original singer. “That’s my time, I came to see them, it brings back good memories,” slips a festival-goer. As for the Spirit of 66, the room remains faithful to its reputation and has been sold out since the start of the festival.

The evening will close with Antoine Simar from the Herve plateau who will keep the festival-goers dancing until the wee hours of the morning.
