Once a year it gets loud in the tranquil Mühlviertel. Just under half an hour away from Linz, more precisely in Sankt Martin im Mühlkreis, this year too Zinöcker snack bar HERE for the Rock Shock Theatre HERE loaded. Connoisseurs know: If the concert is nothing, the food is definitely guaranteed. With the current line up there was no need to worry about this either.

The Welser Death Metalers were allowed to start The effect HERE make. In bright sunshine, the local heroes were able to continue heating up the tent, which was still quite empty at the time. Without a drummer, but with a decent drum computer, the band managed to enthrall the audience who were already there right from the start and create a remarkable atmosphere. There have been a lot of much worse opening shows and you can assume that we will have a lot of fun with the band for many years to come. The next highlight is the album release in late autumn, which you shouldn’t miss.

Things continued a little more relaxed Reaper’s Revenge HERE with their mix of Thrash and Power Metal. The space in front of the stage slowly filled up and the atmosphere became more and more exuberant, which was partly due to the tasty barley juice, but the five gentlemen from Bavaria can’t be excused from responsibility. You didn’t have to look twice to notice that they had been doing this for a long time and the fun the band had both during and between the songs was immediately felt by the audience.

The middle of the illustrious line up was with Endonomos HERE a not entirely unknown Doom Metal band, where the tent was packed to capacity right from the start. As usual, the band plowed through the landscape with their pleasant mix of doom and death metal and were able to inspire the crowd – including the author, who normally has nothing to do with doom metal.
As the hour went on, the names got bigger and bigger, so now Darkfall HERE it was their turn. The Death Thrashers set off fireworks straight away and at times you had to worry whether the tent would still be standing after this show. It was a big movie up to this point and everything was set up for the big headliner of the evening.
Mastic Scum HERE from Vienna were able to bring the grand finale to this memorable evening. And here too it was made clear from the start that no prisoners would be taken. Apart from a short interruption due to a medical intervention in the audience – big compliments to the band and the audience, because even though we all like to be at each other’s throats in the mosh pit, consideration is always given when someone is on the floor … you just have to love the scene – it was a hit all the time. Across the band’s already extensive discography, there was hit after hit to marvel at, so that everyone could go home afterwards in total bliss.

In summary you can say that Rock Shock Theatre definitely a visit
is worth it and will probably be remembered for a long time. Five rock-solid bands, a cool location and really good sound provide the best conditions for a successful concert. The ticket price is more than justified for what entertainment is on offer here. The fact that the bar staff deliver not only incredibly quickly but also well is another bonus that unfortunately cannot be taken for granted these days. We are therefore looking forward to the successor next year.
