GTA 6 has only just been announced, but some are already thinking regarding the sequel. One thing is certain, Rockstar is not just working on one project.
Some time ago, in 2019, we told you regarding a medieval game project which would have been in pre-production on the home side Rockstar at the end of the 2010s and which was ultimately abandoned by the star firm. Visibly, Rockstar Games would be reviving this idea.
It is unfortunately in the Christmas leaks that some information was found concerning this project which would be in development on the next generation of console to be released followingwards GTA 6. Rockstar is (finally) preparing a new license, in a medieval universe. If this turns out to be true, it would be a small event since Rockstar’s last new IP dates back to 2011 with The black.
According to some Internet users, this medieval game project might be the Ethos project, a trademark registered by Take Two Interactive in October 2023. On the other hand, let us point out that Take Two is a publisher that owns several labels and that this Ethos project might concern many studios and not necessarily Rockstar.
In any case, very little information on this new project, which must still be in the pre-production state at this time and which should not arrive before 2027 or even 2028 in the best case.
