Jurij Rodionov has mastered the qualification at the ATP tournament in Astana. The 24-year-old Austrian defeated New Zealander Rubin Statham 7:6 (9/7) 6:4 on Wednesday and, like Dominic Thiem and Sebastian Ofner, is in the main field of the 250 hard court event.
Rodionov will face Frenchman Gregoire Barrere in the first round. Thiem will face the Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas, Ofner will face the Hungarian Marton Fucsovics.
