This Thursday, the mayor of Cipolletti, Rodrigo Buteler held a meeting with different institutions in the city to begin form the Security Council. They explained that in the meeting More than ten institutions participated.
This morning, Buteler, together with the municipality’s security advisor Aldo Mildemberg, met with more than ten local institutions with the aim of discussing the sanction of the new security council ordinance.
From the local government, they announced that the mayor transmitted the intention to form the security council by February. And they explained that the meetings with different institutions in the city will continue.
Regarding the meeting, they described that Buteler reviewed the meetings he had with Governor Alberto Weretilneck, the Minister of Security and Justice Daniel Jara, the head of the provincial police Mary Carmen Carrizo, the deputy chief and the general director of emergencies.
The mayor of the city stated that “we are convinced that the only way to work to improve prevention is by coordinating among the actors of the three powers together with the institutions and the residents of the city«. And he added: «generating tools that allow analysis from a crime map solutions to each sector of the city.”
Additionally, during the meeting held, the government asked the institutions to analyze the appointment of a representative for the formation of the security council in February.
They announced that the meetings will continue in the coming weeks and more institutions in the city will be called.
Among the representatives who participated in the first meeting were: Enrique Oehrens, president of the Rotary Club Cipolletti Comahue, Ariel López, president of the Tiro Club Cipolletti, Luis Horacio Doctors, retired police officer representing the center of retired police officers of the Rio Negro police, José Luis Bunter, president of the Cipolletti chamber of industry and commerce, Raúl Vena, president of volunteer firefighters, Fabián Restelli and Osvaldo Manca of the Cipolletti Lions Club, Bruno Bordignon of the college of architects, representatives of the Israeli society and Rotary Cipolletti.
