Ultimate durability ASUS ROG Phone 7
The video begins with Zack breaking opening the plastic window of the AeroAcrive cooler and then opening the AeroActive Portal panel, giving a better look at the copper fins inside the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. The video then proceeds to the screen scratch test, which as expected produces deeper scratches and grooves at levels 6 and 7, respectively. ROG Phone 7 Ultimate has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus support.
The side frame of the phone houses the ultra-sonic power buttons and blue colored buttons. The frame is made of aluminium. The back of the phone is made of glass and a secondary screen. After the scratch test, ROG Phone 7 Ultimate is put through the burn test. The AMOLED screen withstands the flames for regarding 30 seconds before it turns white. However, the screen returns to normal as the dead pixels are restored.
The most important part of the durability video is the bend test. Unlike ROG Phone 5 and ROG Phone 6 which were snapped in half when bent by applying some force, ROG Phone 7 Ultimate does not break and stands its ground. Although we can see a lot of flexing, the phone simply refuses to be broken in half, thus surviving the torture test.
