Malayali batsman Rohan Kunnummal shared his disappointment at not getting a chance to play in the IPL despite performing well for Kerala. In an interview to Mathrubhumi, Rohan said that IPL is a blessing and getting a chance and not getting it is a part of cricket.
IPL is a blessing. There is no telling whether he will get a place in the team or a place in the playing eleven. It is not in our hands. Despite his good performance for Kerala last season, he is disappointed that he did not get a chance to play in the IPL. But that is part of cricket.
My only aim is to play well in the coming matches and bring victory to the team. He has to play more matches for the Kerala cricket team. We have to own the victories – said Rohan.
Rohan said that Sanju Samson was like a brother to him and he supported him a lot. Rohan also revealed that even though he is currently on tour once morest West Indies, he congratulated him following the Deodhar Trophy final.
