Thursday, November 30, BNP Paribas Territoire de Dordogne, located 2 place du Général-de-Gaulle, in Périgueux, invited the public to the opening of the works of Romain Sudret, as an extension of the Pink October campaign.

75% donated to the League Against Cancer

This evening was also an opportunity to return to the “Pink Bonnets” challenge initiated by Sandrine Dubourdieu, advisor. “We launched the operation in the department and we were joined by many colleagues throughout France. We aimed to collect 500 t-shirts and we collected 900. We are going to have 550 chemotherapy caps made by an ESAT in Bergerac. These caps will then be distributed to hospitals in the department. »

Romain Sudret took the opportunity to explain the birth of his busts. “In 2011, my father died of cancer and I promised myself I would do something for the cause. These busts were cast on eight women, they chose the name of the goddesses to name these creations. There are more than 2,200 nuts welded one by one, which means hours of work. Of the profits from the sale of these busts, 75% are donated to the Dordogne Cancer League. » Catherine Galvagnon, departmental president of La Ligue contre le Cancer, recalled the importance of support from partners and generous donors who make it possible to support patients on a daily basis.
