The Brazilian Romarinho was the only historical scorer for the Jeddah Union in the history of the professional league after reaching the 59th goal in the competition.
The striker advanced to the western team after scoring a header in the Al-Fateh net in the sixth round of the Roshan League.
Since his arrival to the Jeddah team at the beginning of the 2018-2019 season, “Roma” participated in 75 goals in 121 matches in the competition, netting his opponents 59 times, and providing his teammates with 16 assists.
The Emirati Al-Jazira striker and the former Brazilian Corinthians ended his partnership with Fahd Al-Mawlid, the former Al-Ittihad player and the current youth, as the latter has 58 goals with Al-Ittihad in the league, followed by Mukhtar Fallatah with 33 goals.
Romarinho scored 7 goals in the first season, followed by 15 others in the following season, then 16 goals in his third year, and visited the net 20 times last season, before opening his goal record in the current version of the league against Al-Fateh.
The Brazilian is looking to get the title of top scorer in the competition for the first time during his term with Asfar Al Gharbia, as his current colleague Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah won the title of top scorer during the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 seasons, then Al Hilal striker Gomez won the award for the 2020-2021 season and Ighalo in the last version.
In all competitions, Romarinho participated with Al-Ittihad in 142 matches, scoring 70 goals and providing 17 assists to his teammates.
