The third world number one in tennis, Alexander Zverev, succeeded in reaching the semi-finals of the Rome Tennis Tournament, today, Friday, after defeating Chilean Christian Garin, in two sets, to no charge.
Zverev controlled the atmosphere of the match, to settle the first set by 5-7, and the second 6-2, in the match that lasted for one hour and 51 minutes.
He will face the German in the next round, Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, who qualified at the expense of Italian Yannick Sener, with two clean sets (7-6 (7-5) and 6-2).
