A new month begins, but the rhythm of Ronald Acuña Jr. is the same. The one from La Sabana unloaded a new home run this Saturday to reach 21 in which he is campaigning.
In the Braves’ 7-0 victory over the Marlins, Acuña displayed his power against prospect Eury Pérez. The connection, which came out of left field, traveled 417 feet and was his fifth homer in the last seven games.

Acuña’s drive was also the first of six runs that the Braves would produce in the first inning, in which Ozzie Alvies also threw it and doubles by Sean Murphy, Marcell Ozuna and Orlando Arcia stood out.
The pitching of the fish, however, was able to recover the north and no one else stepped on the register until the eighth inning, when Matt Olson drove in one more for Atlanta with a tubey.
The victory went to Charlie Morton who led the whiteout with five and two-thirds innings of just four hits, one ticket and up to five strikeouts. He improved his record to 8-6 and dropped his ERA to 3.57.
The setback was for Eury Pérez (5-2), who barely managed to hang one out and ended up being responsible for all six runs in the first inning.
