Soccer ace striker Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Al-Nasr of Saudi Arabia. He could have been contracted to be one of the highest paid athletes in the world.
Although Arnasr did not disclose, the British newspaper The Sun reported that the annual salary of Ronaldo (37) of Portugal representative may exceed 200 million dollars (about 26 billion yen). Until recently, he played for Manchester United in the English Premier League, where he was worth £26 million ($41 million).
“I am looking forward to experiencing a new football league in a different country,” Ronaldo said in Arnasr’s statement.
