Ronaldo has personal problems – reveals fellow Manchester United players | Sports

The future of superstar Cristiano Ronaldo (37) at Manchester United remains uncertain!

Apparently, the five-time world footballer currently has private problems to solve, as revealed by his teammate Bruno Fernandes (27) in an interview with the Daily Mirror. “We have to respect that and give him the time he needs,” said Fernandes, who, like Ronaldo, plays in the Portuguese national team.

Ronaldo is said to want to leave Manchester United, so his agent is said to be looking for buyers.

Not so easy, the transfer fee of around 15 million euros could still be easily managed by some clubs, but the estimated 30 million annual salary that Ronaldo is supposed to earn in Manchester is of course a huge pound.

Manchester United is currently touring Asia and Oceania, but Ronaldo is officially absent due to family matters and is said to be in Portugal.

“I don’t know what he’s got his mind on, but we have to respect his freedom. The only thing I asked Cristiano when he didn’t show up was if everything was okay with the family. He told me what was going on, that’s it,” says Fernandes.

ManU coach Erik ten Haag (52) apparently expects Ronaldo to play for Manchester again next season: “We all know that Ronaldo is an absolute professional and will be fit.”

Ronaldo colleague Fernandes sees it soberly and probably also realistically: “Cristiano was our top scorer last season, but it’s not up to me. It’s the club that has to make the decisions and Cristiano makes his own choices.”
