Cristiano Ronaldo, who moved to Al Nasr in Saudi Arabia, is struggling to find a family chef.

According to the British media Daily Mail on the 18th (local time), Ronaldo is urgently seeking a chef with a monthly salary of 4,500 pounds (about 6.9 million won).

Currently, Ronaldo is building a new mansion in his hometown, the Portuguese Riviera, where he will live with his family. The price of this house is a whopping 17 million pounds (about 26 billion won).

The mansion, scheduled for completion in June, is known as Ronaldo’s ‘retirement house’. As the size of the house is enormous, several people were needed to manage the house.

Some of the staff, including a butler who is paid 4800 pounds per month (approximately 7.4 million won), were all successful. However, only one chef is still vacant.

The reason is that it is not easy to find a chef who perfectly suits Ronaldo and his family’s appetite.

Ronaldo and his spouse, Georgina Rodriguez, say they are looking for a chef who is skilled at handling traditional Portuguese dishes as well as international dishes such as sushi.

In particular, Ronaldo, who is known as a sushi lover, is said to have specially designed a section of the mansion to enjoy Japanese delicacies.

The media pointed out, “Even though Ronaldo offered a salary of 4,500 pounds a month, he was unable to find the right person,” and “Who can prepare sushi and other meals for him?”

This luxury residence is located 30 minutes from Lisbon and is said to have smart heating, a gym, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a massage parlour, and a 20-car garage.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Al Nasr earlier this month for an annual salary of 173 million pounds (about 270 billion won). He has chosen one of Saudi Arabia’s finest suites as his temporary accommodation.
