Manchester United won 4 consecutive domestic matches following that harsh defeat, during which Ronaldo was sitting on the bench, before returning to the start on Thursday.
Brice Mendes scored the game’s only goal in the 59th minute following substitute Lisandro Martinez touched the ball with his hand inside the penalty area following a shot from veteran David Silva.
