Ronaldo’s 700th professional goal… 21 wins over Manchester United Everton

Cristiano Ronaldo (37, Portugal) scored his 700th professional goal and led his team Manchester United to victory.

Manchester United defeated Everton 2-1 in the 10th round of the English Premier League for the 2022-2023 season held at Goodison Park in Liverpool, England on the 10th (Korean time).

Ronaldo, who came in as a substitute in the 29th minute of the first half, scored the winning goal in the 44th minute after a 1-1 match.

After receiving the ball from Casemiro forward, Ronaldo dribbled into the left side of the penalty area and scored with his left foot.

Ronaldo scored a penalty kick against Sherif Tiraspol (Moldova) in the UEFA Europa League (UEL) in September, and scored his first goal of the season in a league match.

Ronaldo made his 700th professional goal with this goal.

Ronaldo, who started his professional career with Sporting, Portugal in 2002, scored 450 goals for Real Madrid (Spain), the most from 2009 to 2018, and 144 for Manchester United.

He played for Manchester United from the 2003-2004 season to the 2008-2009 season, and returned to Manchester United for the 2021-2022 season.

He also scored 101 goals at Juventus, Italy, where he played from 2018 to 2022.

At Sporting, he scored his first and fifth professional goals.

Manchester United manager Eric Ten Haach said, “Once the goal has been scored, this trend will continue.”

“It’s a great win,” Ronaldo said on social media.

It’s one more step in the right direction,” he said.

With this win, Manchester United finished fifth with a record of 5 wins and 3 losses and 15 points.

Although it is 9 points behind leaders Arsenal with 8 wins and 1 loss, it is closely behind 4th place Chelsea (16 points).
