SINGER, songwriter and producer who is currently being talked about from Orlando, United States (US), Rouri404, has released his latest single entitled, Shotgun Carousel, via Red Bull Records.
After releasing his last single which was in the vibrant hyperpop genre, now, Rouri404’s latest single explores the genre of alternative and emo music, by including screamo elements inspired by alternative bands, one of which is Bring Me The Horizon.
Shotgun Carousel is also equipped with an official video that represents the feelings of Rouri404, who has been dormant and is currently in the healing process.
Rouri404 explains “Shotgun Carousel is one of the few songs where I can express myself freely. Here, I let all the outside noise and problems of reality go for a moment. All the parts of this song come together very quickly, and it’s very therapeutic just to I can get into a state of mind that flows with all my closest friends and co-workers. The lyrics are just a dump of everything I’ve been feeling, whether it’s feelings of hopelessness and a wasted life, or just losing someone you love , through heartbreak or death. I was inspired by the Saw film franchise, trying to replicate the feeling of fear from the first films into music in a way. So I took the name ‘shotgun carousel’ from there, using the scenes with those traps as a kind of ‘vibe setter’ for the lyrics and overall sound.”
Since his arrival on SoundCloud, Rouri404 has continued to develop his musical signature by embracing elements from various genres.
His latest work on Red Bull Records showcases his ability to turn his introspective sessions into works of art, with songs like Spit and Numb pulling back the curtain on his boundless production abilities. (RO/Z-1)
