The ideal card for playing in 1440p, the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti also does quite well in Ultra HD, even if 60 FPS is not reached in all games on this definition. Still, the performance is very close to that of the RTX 3070 and the card costs 100 euros more expensive, while consuming an additional 70 watts. At this price, the GeForce RTX 3080, officially sold for 719 euros, or 100 euros more than the 3070 Ti, is undoubtedly a better deal, offering a much more interesting performance gain. Of course, we are once again talking about the official prices of the Founders Edition here, and the reality of the market is much more complex. The position of the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti is therefore not obvious, being in an uncomfortable in-between. A very good graphics card, certainly, but whose price-performance ratio is not the most interesting.
