A fire broke out this Sunday late followingnoon in rue du Blanc-Ry in Ottignies. Contacted by us, the mayor provided some information. “Emergency services were called around 6 p.m. They were there very quickly. Unfortunately, the fire was already very large at that time“, indicated Julie Chantry.
Initially, emergency services had mentioned two potential victims. In the end, only one person lost his life.
It is still too early to determine the origin of the fire. The house is no longer habitable.
