Rules for global minimum tax in Austria planned for this year – taxes

Vienna – The global minimum tax has not yet been implemented. But also in Austria, according to the Ministry of Finance (BMF), work on the legislation is underway at the request of the APA. For the time being, however, there is no estimate of what additional income the tax authorities can expect. According to the BMF, the amount of revenue from the introduction of this supplementary tax depends heavily on how many low-tax countries will introduce a national supplementary tax.
