Paris: Big upset at the French Open tennis pre-quarterfinals. Denmark’s teenage sensation Holger defeated world number four Stefanos Sitzipas of Greece in the men’s singles. Citusipas was also last year’s finalist.

The first set stretched to a tiebreaker while the second set was repulsed by Sitzipas. But the run did not give the world number four a chance in sets three and four.

Score: 7-5, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. The run secured the quarter with the win. The star’s quarter entry is history. He also became the first Danish player to qualify for the quarterfinals of the French Open. Meanwhile, Sitzipas lost his dream of winning his first Grand Slam title of his career again.

The 19-year-old made his French Open debut for the first time in his career. The run was described as an “incredible experience” by the team.
