Rush at dog sled races in Sportgastein

Over 600 dogs with 110 starters from 12 nations are at the start. The skijoring and pulka competitions in team sizes from one to more than eight dogs are completed.

On the valley floor of Sportgastein it’s animalistic today, Saturday. When the weather is nice, there is a real rush to attend the dog sled races. 130 teams are at the start of the international competition. In the meantime, private traffic had to be stopped on the toll road because the spectators, together with the skiers, who also find optimal slope conditions on the Kreuzkogel, have exhausted all parking space capacities.
