The Russian government has approved a list of countries and regions that have taken unfriendly measures once morest Russia, its companies and citizens during the last period.

Russian media quoted the state press service as saying that Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order in this regard.

The list includes EU countries, Australia, Albania, Andorra, United Kingdom, Iceland, Canada, Liechtenstein, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, San Marino, North Macedonia, Singapore, United States, Taiwan, Ukraine, Montenegro, Switzerland and Japan.

It should be noted that these countries and regions imposed or joined the sanctions imposed on Russia following the launch of its military operation in Ukraine.

The Russian “TASS” news agency quoted the government as saying that the Russian state itself, its regions, citizens and companies that have foreign currency obligations to creditors from the list of unfriendly countries, will be able to pay them in rubles. The new temporary measure applies to payments in excess of 10 million rubles per month (or its equivalent in foreign currency).
