The plant in Yelabuga, where Ford Transit minibuses and trucks were assembled, launched into production Chinese small-tonnage JAC under the Sollers brand. The first models of this brand were the Chinese JAC Sunray and N25/N35. The first one was named Sollers Atlant, it is an all-metal van with a carrying capacity of 2.5 to 4.2 tons, that is, it is an analogue of the Gazelles. The second, called in Russia “Sollers Argo”, is a tadpole truck like the familiar Hyundai Porter. It has two versions – for 2.5 and 3.5 tons (that is, all options can be driven with “passenger” rights of category “B”).
