Russian Air Force Strikes Extremist Drone Warehouse in Idlib, Syria: Updates, Details, and Impacts

2023-11-06 00:30:34

The Russian Interfax news agency, citing Deputy Director of the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria, Admiral Vadim Collet, reported on Sunday that the Russian Air Force carried out air attacks on a drone warehouse in the Syrian province of Idlib.

“The Russian Air Force launched an air strike… on a drone depot of militants involved in bombing Syrian government forces positions,” Collett was quoted as saying.

No information was available regarding the extent of damage or potential losses.

The Syrian army accuses the militants, whom it says are extremists, of launching attacks on government-controlled areas in Idlib and Aleppo governorates, and denies indiscriminate bombing of civilian areas in areas under the control of the Syrian opposition.
