The situation with Russian budget revenues in 2024 will look “like a butt hitting ice.” Billionaire Oleg Deripaska stated this. In his opinion, next year the budget may lose 10-12 trillion rubles.

“What the world calls a “soft landing” continues, prices for all commodities are declining. And we have a record tax collection this year of 46 trillion rubles. already in the next year the income situation will look like hitting the butt on ice…” Deripaska wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to the entrepreneur, the Russian budget next year may be short by 10-12 trillion rubles. Deripaska named the reasons as “suppressed economic growth and the tyranny of state capitalism, raising prices for all its products and services, drawing subsidies and subsidies from the budget.” The businessman believes that the only way out of this situation can be serious economic changes.

Previously the Accounts Chamber reportedthat the share of oil and gas revenues in Russia decreased by 15 percentage points and amounted to 28.3% of all revenues. As a result, the contribution from oil and gas companies to the Russian budget reached its minimum since 2007.
