Avtotor, a major Russian car manufacturer, has just unveiled the first “Made in Russia” electric car. But the model, named “Amber” and which will be put into production from 2025, immediately sparked mockery on social networks.

The reason ? An appearance that is not unanimous. As our colleagues at HLN relay, Internet users actually let loose when commenting on their impressions. “We hope that the appearance will be different, otherwise no one will want to buy it,” we can read on Russian accounts on Telegram. Others still ironically nickname her the “Tesla Killer” (literally, “Tesla Killer”).
