MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. Matches of the Russian Football Championship in December are uncomfortable for football players and fans. This opinion was expressed to journalists by Dynamo Moscow striker Fedor Smolov.

On December 3, the 17th round match between CSKA and Rostov (2:0) took place on a snow-covered field. On the day of the game it was snowing in Moscow; before the start of the match, special equipment was brought in to clean the field. The start of the meeting between Lokomotiv and Zenit (3:1) was delayed by 30 minutes.
“The weather conditions are the same as usual in December, nothing new. It doesn’t seem strange, because only last year we finished earlier, and in recent years we’ve been playing with these numbers. This is clearly not for fans, not for athletes, but tell me, for whom? It’s not the first match and not the last in the snow, so there is what there is,” said Smolov.
On Monday, Dynamo beat Rubin Kazan with a score of 1:0 in the final match of the 17th round of the RPL. “It’s good that we managed to achieve victory. “Rubin” doesn’t concede many goals, they had an unbeaten streak. It’s good that we finished the last home match [в году] victory, we could have scored more at the end, but something was missing,” the Dynamo striker noted.
“We go from game to game, we are glad that we managed to extend the unbeaten streak, we are winning. The reason is that we have a good team. I said at the beginning of the season that we need to strengthen ourselves, it seems to me that we have signed good players, our bench has expanded, and the competition has expanded. Now we are playing our own football,” concluded Smolov.
Dynamo has not lost in the Russian Championship for eight matches. The blue and white scored 31 points and are in 3rd place in the standings. In the next round, the capital team will play away against Fakel Voronezh on December 10.
