In detail, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced, on Thursday, the success of its forces in extending their control over two other neighborhoods in Bakhmut, stressing that the forces continue to destroy Ukrainian forces in the western part of the city.
The ministry stated in a statement that the losses of the Ukrainian forces on the axes of Bakhmut, Krasny Liman, south of Donetsk and Kherson amounted to hundreds.
In a statement, the Russian defense said: “In the direction of Donetsk, offensive detachments captured two neighborhoods, and continued to destroy the enemy in the western part of the city of Artyomovsk (Bakhmut).”
It added: “Operational and tactical air strikes, army and artillery fire from the Southern Group of Forces in the Krasnoye region, in the southwestern suburbs of Artyomovsk and Grigorovka, hit the 60th and 93rd mechanized units, as well as the 54th mechanized infantry brigade of the Ukrainian forces.”
And the statement continued: “In total, during the past day (Wednesday), the aviation in this area made six sorties, the artillery units completed 57 firing missions, in contrast, the paratroopers thwarted the enemy’s attempts to counterattack from the flanks.”
The Russian Defense Ministry also indicated that Russian army units destroyed an ammunition depot for the Ukrainian 66th mechanized brigade.

Among what the Russian fighters found in this old mine were thousands of pieces of weapons and 7.62 * 54 mm ammunition, which are used in the main gun of the Russian forces today, which means that most of the weapons and ammunition that were found can be used by the Russian forces, especially machine guns.
In addition, two US-made “Barrett M107” sniper rifles, 12.7 mm, military version, equipped with silencers, were found in the mine.
