Moscow has completed the preparation of response measures against Lithuania and the EU, which may be a response to the closure of transit to the Kaliningrad region. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, according to Telegram channel departments on Friday, July 8.
“We hope that the only correct decision will be made in Brussels and Vilnius, which will ensure unhindered transit to the exclave part of Russia. At the same time, our economic operators are already suffering losses due to illegal restrictions imposed unilaterally by the Lithuanians. We will not wait indefinitely. Once again we warn that if the situation does not stabilize in the coming days, then Russia will take tough measures against Lithuania and the European Union, the preparation of which has already been completed. The solution to the problem has been too long,” Zakharova said, stressing that the dialogue with Lithuania and the EU continues.
