The Russian military disrupted the rotation (regrouping – URA.RU note) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the southern Donetsk direction. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense. South Donetsk direction
Russian soldiers from the Vostok group hit several Ukrainian mechanized brigades in the area of settlements in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The battles took place in Novomikhailovka, Nikolsky, Shevchenko, Konstantinovka, Novodonetsky and Staromayorsky.
In the area of Urozhainy and Staromayorsky, the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to carry out three attempts to rotate their troops, but they did not succeed. In addition to military personnel, Ukraine also lost ten mortar crews and several vehicles. In total, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 145 people in this direction.
Donetsk direction
Soldiers from the Yuzhny group, with the support of aviation and artillery, repelled six enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kleshcheevka, Shumy and Maryinka (DPR). The soldiers also repelled attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the areas of the settlements of Andreevka, Vasyukovka, Razdolovka, Bogdanovka, Artemovsk, Krasnoye, Kurdyumovka and Kleshcheevka.
The total losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this direction amounted to more than 240 military personnel. Russian fighters were also able to destroy a tank, an infantry fighting vehicle, two vehicles and an MSTA-B howitzer.
Kupyansk direction
The Russian military from the “Western” group hit Ukrainian soldiers from the airborne and mechanized brigades in the areas of Petropavlovka, Sinkovka, Ivanovka, Berestov of the Kharkov region and Stelmakhovka of the Lugansk People’s Republic. The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces amounted to 70 people. Two cars were also destroyed.
Krasnolimansk direction
Russian fighters from the “Center” group repelled an attack by the Ukrainian special forces brigade “Azov” (recognized as a terrorist and extremist organization, banned in the Russian Federation). The battle took place south of the village of Kuzmino (LPR). Also, with the help of aviation, several mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed in the areas of settlements: Yampolovka, north of Grigorovka (DPR) and Serebryansky forestry. Kyiv lost up to 30 people in this direction.
Zaporozhye direction
In this direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than a hundred people. The main battles took place in the area of the settlements of Rabotino, Kirovo and north-west of Kopani, Zaporozhye region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also lost three armored vehicles, 11 ordinary vehicles and a D-30 howitzer.
Kherson direction
In the Kherson direction, as a result of artillery fire and air strikes of the Russian Armed Forces, up to 20 Ukrainian soldiers were hit. Enemy fighters lost a howitzer, two vehicles and a Gvozdika self-propelled artillery mount.
Total losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the beginning of the Northern Military District
In total, since the beginning of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, Russian soldiers have destroyed 536 enemy aircraft, 254 helicopters, more than nine thousand drones and more. The Russian Armed Forces also hit 13,486 tanks.
