Russian fighters created the Gradomet installation at the NVO, which does not require full-fledged shells.
Soldiers of the RF Armed Forces in the zone of the special military operation have created a new weapon – this is the Gradomet installation. As reported on July 2 “News“, the military has already begun to successfully apply their development.
It is specified that it consists of a pipe, a welded tripod and a trigger mechanism. The main advantage of the Gradomet is that it does not require the supply of full-fledged shells. The installation is stationary in position, but its small size and folding mechanism make it easy to relocate the structure to another location if necessary.
– We shoot 20 kilometers. We are working on the technology, we are working precisely on an area target – we are destroying enemy equipment there, in warehouses, – the publication quotes a fighter with the call sign “Mechanic”. He added that this installation was a rethinking of the Soviet “Grad”. A modified version of it is also used to attack large objects.
