As a result of repelling two attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk direction, 280 Ukrainian military personnel, three tanks and an infantry fighting vehicle were eliminated. This was reported to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“In the Donetsk direction, units of the “Southern” group of troops repelled two attacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of the DPR settlement of Kleshcheevka,” it says in the message ministries. They added that the total losses of Ukrainians amounted to 280 military killed and wounded, three tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, as well as four pickup trucks. In addition, in this section of the front, the Msta-B howitzer, the Giatsint gun and three D-30 howitzers were destroyed.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian troops hit an aviation ammunition warehouse of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at an airfield in the Khmelnitsky region, reports RT. In addition, the communications center at the airfield was hit. Several Su-25 attack aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed camouflaged fortified positions and armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the South Donetsk direction.
